Rev. Fr. Dominic Mbomson, O.P.

(Preacher - Novena honouring Our Lady of Sorrows)

Rev. Fr. Dominic Mbomson, O.P. is a native of Abagana in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anamba State.

He joined the Dominican Order of the Province of St. Joseph the Worker, where he academically obtained his B.A. and M.A.

He religiously made his professions at St. Thomas Aquinas Priory (Dominican Institute, Ibadan). Simple profession - 1998, Solemn profession - 2003, Deaconate Ordination - 2006 and Priestly Ordination - 2007.

Fr. Dominic worked as an Associate Pastor in Rivers State, at St. Paul's Parish, Oyigbo, from 2007 to 2009.

Presently, he is the Pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ime - Obi, Agbor and also the Episcopal Vicar and President for the Religious in the Diocese of Issele-ukwu in Delta State.

We welcome him with joy to St. Dominic's Parish, Yaba - Lagos.

Rev. Fr. Fada J. C. Atado

(Preacher - Novena honouring Sts. Joachim and Anne - Parents of the B.V.M)

Rev. Fr. Fada J. C. Atado was ordained a Catholic Priest in May 1979.

He received his BD degree from Pontifical Urbanian University, Rome; his Licentiate (JCL) in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America; his M. Ed in School Administration from Loyola Mary-mount University, Los Angeles, U.S.A. and a Doctorate in Guidance and Counseling from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Father Atado is a Judge in the Kaduna Ecclesiastical Provincial Tribunal. Presently, he is the Parish Priest of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Katsina, Chaplain of Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Sokoto Diocese, and a member of Canon Law Society of Nigeria.

He is a renowned author, and acclaimed revivalist and a retreat preacher. We welcome Father Atado to St. Dominic's Parish.

Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Nduka Ozoemene, O.P. (Pentecost Novena Preacher)

Rev. Fr. Alphonsus Nduka Ozoemene, O.P. is a native of Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He joined the Dominican Order in 1987, ordained to Priesthood on 5th August, 1995. He is an ardent Charismatic Preacher and has worked as Pastoral Associate in several Dioceses in Nigeria as well as the Diocese of Saskatoon, in Idestern Canada.

Fr. Alphonsus holds BA Philosophy, BTH, MTH and STL in Sacred Theology. He has been involved in Itenerant Preaching Ministry, which has taken him to almost all the Capital cities in Nigeria.

Presently, he is the Promoter of Itenerant Preaching Ministry of the Dominican Province of Nigeria and Ghana. He currently resides and has his office at St. Jude's Catholic Church, Mafoluku - Oshodi, Lagos.

Rev. Fr. AveMaria Erhariefe, O.P. (Lenten Novena Preacher)

Rev. Fr. AveMaria is a native of Ewu in Ugheli Local Government Area of Delta State.

He joined the Dominican Order of the Province of St. Joseph the Woker, where he made his professions at St. Thomas Aquinas Priory (Dominican Institute, Ibadan). Simple profession - 1999, Solemn profession - 2004, Deaconate Profession - 2006 and Priestly Ordination - 2007.

Thereafter, he was assigned to St. Thomas Catholic Church Kumasi, Ghana for Pastoral Assistance where he also served as the Youth Chaplain.

In 2009, he was made the Associate Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Beseasi, Kumasi - Ghana, a position he is currently serving till date.

Father AveMaria has a Bachelor degree in Philosophy and a Master Degree in Theology.

He loves counselling people towards their Salvation. We welcome him to St. Dominic's Parish.

Father Ignatius Nwankwocha (January 2010 Novena Preacher)

Fr. Ignatius Nwankwocha is a Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha. He is a native of Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He received his priestly ordination on 2nd July, 1994. Since then, he has held the following positions:

Associate Pastor: St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Odume-Obosi / Onitsha, Associate Pastor: St. Michael's Parish, Fegge-Onitsha, Associate Pastor: St. Joseph's Parish Egbema, Ozubulu - Ekwusigo and Pastor: St. Mary's Parish Umudora Anam - Anambra West Local Govt. Area.

Thereafter, he became Supervisor Special Duties: State Education Commission Nnewi Zone, State Education Commission Ogidi Zone, Chaplain, Onitsha Young Catholic Students (ONYCAS) Idemili Zone.

Special Apostolate: Looking for and developing hidden talents.

Father Ignatious is presently on vacation, he loves reading, writing, travelling, good music, sports and meeting people.
